At Ilmberger, the BDC is hand-laminated and cured in several stages in an autoclave. The various fibers of the material scatter the incoming light and create an unprecedented reflection.

Surface Refinement

The final clear coat layer of the heel protector is in a modern silk-matte version, highlighting the special optical properties of the material. To optimally protect the high-quality material from environmental influences, we use a specially developed plastic coating. This, in combination with our clear coat, ensures a unique depth effect that particularly highlights the quality of the material.
