The material used, BDC, gives the component a unique touch. Each surface of the BDC part is one of a kind and reminiscent of marble. The BDC is laminated by hand and cures in several stages in the autoclave. In addition to the exciting appearance, the material impresses with its technical properties. The different fibers scatter the incoming light and create an unprecedented reflection.
The final clear coat layer in a satin finish emphasizes the special optical properties of the material.
Protection and Quality
To optimally protect the high-quality material from environmental influences, Ilmberger uses a specially developed plastic coating. This, in combination with the clear coat, ensures a unique depth effect that particularly highlights the quality of the material.
