The rear fender for the BMW R 1300 GS is a unique product, completely developed by Ilmberger. It impresses with an innovative, patented fastening and gives your motorcycle a distinctive look.
Material and Design
The material used is the innovative BDC, which gives the component a completely new and individual touch. The final clear coat layer in a silk matte finish emphasizes the visual highlights of the material. Each carbon part is unique and its surface resembles marble. The BDC is laminated by hand and cures in several stages in the autoclave. The different fibers scatter the incoming light and create a previously unknown reflection.
Protection and Quality
To optimally protect the high-quality material from environmental influences, Ilmberger uses a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. This, in combination with the clear coat, provides a unique depth effect that particularly highlights the quality of the material.
