The BDC is laminated by hand at Ilmberger and cures in several stages in the autoclave. The different fibers scatter the incoming light and create a previously unknown reflection.
The final clear coat layer in a modern satin finish emphasizes the special optical properties of the material.

To optimally protect this high-quality material from environmental influences, Ilmberger is the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces.
