Material and Workmanship
The carbon part is a unique piece that resembles marble. At Ilmberger, the BDC is laminated by hand and cures in several stages in the autoclave. It impresses with its exciting appearance and outstanding technical properties. The different fibers scatter the incoming light and create an unprecedented reflection.
The final clear coat layer in a silk-matte finish further emphasizes the optical highlights of the material. To optimally protect the high-quality material from environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer worldwide to use a specially developed plastic coating. This, in combination with our clear coat, creates a unique depth effect that particularly highlights the quality of the material.
