With the introduction of the Monster 1100 in 2008, Ducati ushered in the era of the new combined aluminum-steel trellis frame for the Monster series. Although the main frame of the new model series still consists of the well-known steel trellis frame, it is complemented by an aluminum cast rear frame. Even though there was much skepticism among the Ducatisti at the introduction of the new frame construction, the new design has persisted and established itself in today's Monster series.

The powerful, air-oil-cooled 1100cc twin-cylinder engine helped the Ducati Monster 1100 achieve great sales success and, paired with the nimble chassis, earned respect among rivals in the naked bike class. The entry-level Monster models 696 and 796, as well as the much-noted Monster 1100 Evo, also come with the new chassis concept.

Carbon Parts for Value Preservation and Sporty Look

Especially the carbon rear wheel cover from Ilmberger significantly contributes to the preservation of these vehicles' value. The often unsightly tank covers are also gladly replaced with the glossy coated carbon tank covers, giving the vehicle a new, sporty look. The carbon swingarm cover also reliably protects the valuable single-sided swingarm from scratches and other damage.

The mentioned tank cover is just one of several hundred percent high-quality carbon components from Ilmberger.
